FORTHcrs was established in 2000, combining the know-how of the ferry industry and the business insight of FORTHNET SA. The company has always focused on serving the ferry industry by providing reservation systems and developing a wide sales network. Regarding the reservation systems, FORTHcrs meets all specifications of the Greek Electronic Reservation & Ticketing System, as set by the Hellenic Ministry of Shipping and in accordance with the relevant European Union guidelines. The directions followed since the company’s establishment resulted in the development of unique know-how for safe, fast and functional management of reservations, ticket issuance and management, check-in systems and other, in the maritime, transport and tourism sectors. On the other hand, the course of the company is now turning dynamically into three directions:
Geographic expansion, towards new markets, aiming in the expansion of the sales network as well as the increase of the number of companies that receive services by FORTHcrs.
Development of support mechanisms for the main services, with marketing, mobile, business intelligence, automatic vending machine solutions.
Enhance its service portfolio, with solutions for buses, trains, hotels and dynamic packaging, intermodal booking, revenue management.
